Vote for 'boat' in JS polls: Sherif

ISHWARDI, Sept 22 (BSS): Land Minister Shamshur Rahman Sherif urged the people on Saturday to cast their votes in favour of 'boat', the election symbol of Awami League, in the next Jatiya Sangsad (JS) election to continue the current pace of development.

"The country witnessed huge development in every sector under the present government. AL should be voted to power again for continuation of the trend," he told a boat race competition in Padma River at Nilkuthi Kachari-bari under Laxmikunda union of the district.
