B'desh beat Sri Lanka by 78-53 pts

Hosts Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 78-53 points in a South Asian Qualifying round match of the FIBA U-18 Asian Basketball Championship at the Dhanmondi wooden floor gymnasium in the city on Wednesday, reports UNB.
Bangladesh led the first half by 42-23 points.
In the day's other matches, India outplayed the Maldives by 115-60 points while Sri Lanka beat Nepal by 86-77 points at the same venue.
Nepal will play the Maldives at 9:00 am while Bangladesh will play Nepal in the last match at 4:30 pm today (Thursday).
State Minister Health and Family Welfare Dr Zahid Malik will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distribute the prizes.
