BSTI lodges cases against five shops

Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) has filed cases against five shops in the city on charge of measurement manipulation.
The cases were lodged under Standards of Weights and Measures Act 2018, according to a press release issued by BSTI on Monday.
A surveillance team conducted the raid on M/S Palki Brand, M/S Dilshad Foods, M/S Belmont Fabrics, M/S Dairy Farm and Food Products and M/S Top Ten cloth and filed the cases.
BSTI Assistant Director Rezaul Karim led the drive carried out in Khilgaon, Malibagh and Rampura areas, the release said.
