Midland Bank supports Shishu Bikash Kendra

As part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in education, Midland Bank Limited (MDB) has provided financial assistance to run yearlong breakfast programme for the students of Shishu Bikash Kendra.
Shishu Bikash Kendra is a school operated by ZONTA Club Dhaka III, located at Rayer Bazar in the city, according to a statement.
Bilkis Bari, Head Mistress of the school along with Khadija Afzal, President ZONTA Club Dhaka III received the cheque from Nilufer Zafarullah, MP, Vice Chairman of the bank, at a ceremony held at the bank's Head Office in the city recently.
Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO, Mohammad Masoom, AMD of the bank, and Shamsul Azam Khan, Head of CRM & Sustainable Financial Unit, were present along with officials of the bank.
Shishu Bikash Kendra was established in the year 1989 with an aim to provide education for social and economic development of 160 unprivileged children and women.
ZONTA International Club is a leading global organisation of executives and professionals working together to empower women worldwide through service and advocacy.
MDB provided financial assistance to the school in keeping with the bank's commitment towards improving education facility of the country under corporate social responsibility programme of the bank.
