New MD of SBAC Bank

Md Golam Faruque has been promoted to managing director & chief executive officer (CEO) of South Bangla Agricultural and Commerce (SBAC) Bank recently, said a statement.
Prior to the appointment, he was serving as senior additional managing director of the same bank. He has also served as managing director of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank, DMD of Janata Bank and DMD of Bangladesh Krishi Bank.

Golam Faruque

Faruque started his career in Janata Bank in 1984 as a senior officer. In his three decades banking career, he contributed in corporate banking specially credit, investment, international trade and treasury management.
He also contributed in audit and corporate structure of banks. He took part in the various trainings, seminars and symposiums held at home and abroad.
He obtained BSS (honours) and Master's degree in economics from Dhaka University.
