Bank Asia condoles demise of Nurul Islam Anu
A M Nurul Islam Anu, Vice Chairman of Bank Asia passed away on Wednesday at United Hospital, Gulshan, Dhaka. He was 78. He left behind two sons and a host of friends and well-wishers to mourn his death. A M Nurul Islam Anu was born on December 14, 1939 in a respectable Muslim family of Sirajdikhan Upazila in Munshigonj district. After completion of his education, he started his career as a teacher of University of Dhaka in 1961. Later, he joined in Pakistan Civil Service (CSP) in 1963. In Bangladesh Government, he held important assignments, including Private Secretary to Prime Minister Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
