Lailatul Qadr tonight
Muslims across the country will observe holy Lailatul Qadr tonight (Tuesday night) with due religious fervour and solemnity. The holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) on this night. According to the holy Quran, the night is superior to one thousand nights. Devotees will pass the night offering special prayers, reciting from the holy Quran and holding milad mahfil and zikr.

Mild tremor jolts Sylhet
SYLHET, June 11: A mild earthquake jolted different parts of Sylhet on Monday morning. The 4.9 magnitude earthquake was felt around 10:53am. The epicentre of the earthquake was Guwahati in Assam, India, said Mahmudul Hasan Sohel, a meteorologist of Sylhet met office. — UNB
