Tigresses win Asia Cup

It was certainly a wonderful performance by the Bangladesh women cricket team on Sunday, June 10, when they beat six-time champion India by three wickets to win the Asia cup! It is the first trophy for Bangladesh, for both men and women categories. Credit goes to Bangladeshi bowlers whose tight bowling seemingly choked the life out of the Indian eves. The win is a pre-eid gift for Bangladeshi cricket fans. After the Afghanistan debacle, this win was highly needed by Bangladeshi cricket. I hope the concerned authorities will motivate the Tigresses in the future. This win will hopefully be the start of a new journey for women's cricket in Bangladesh. Also, this can act as an encouragement for the Tigers for upcoming international tournaments.
