FBCCI for creation of skilled manpower

Sheikh Fazle Fahim, the newly-elected president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) revealed on Friday the future plans of the apex trade body which include establishment of educational institute and arbitration centre.

The plans are aimed at creating skilled HR for achieving desired growth in economy.

It will also establish FBCCI International University with an emphasis on the delivery of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to create skilled manpower.

Besides it will also help to formulate economic policy planning and design by taking into consideration the trade and business-oriented developments.

Mr Fahim told the media about the plans after paying homage at the portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Bangabandhu memorial museum, Dhanmondi in the capital.

Other members of FBCCI board of directors were also present.

They placed floral wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and offered Munajat.

Later they visited the Bangabandhu memorial museum where the FBCCI president wrote his comments at the visitor's book.

He also expressed his commitment to work together for the development of trade and industry of the country.

He said that the FBCCI will extend their effort for the advancement of the nation.

It may be mentioned that the office bearers of the apex trade body of the Country took their charge on 19th May 2019 for the term 2019-2021.

Senior vice- president of FBCCI Md. Muntakim Ashraf, vice- presidents Hasina Newaaz, Dilip Kumar Agarwala, Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Mir NizamUddin Ahmed and Mr. Nizamuddin Rajesh were present.

Directors of both chamber and association group also joined the programme.
