CHATTOGRAM, Apr 25: The historic and century-old traditional popular sports event for the people of Chattogram locally known as 'Jabbarer Boli Khela' (wrestling competition) passed its 110 years.

Shahajalal Boli of Cumilla clinched the title of Jabbarer Boli Khela today. A total of 150 Bolies (wrestlers) took part in the competition. Jibon Boli of Chokoria in Cox's Bazar became runner- up of the competition.

Mayor of Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Alhaj A J M Nasir Uddin attended the function as the chief guest while Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Mahabubur Rahman inaugurated it. Shahajalal Boli and Jibon Boli received the prize money from the CMP commissioner.
