Sirajganj reach final beating Joypurhat 3-1

CHUADANGA, Oct 23 (UNB): Sirajganj District Football team confirmed their final berth of the Chuadanga Deputy Commissioner Gold Cup Football Tournament with 3-1 goal victory against Joypurhat District XI in the semifinal at Chuadanga District Stadium on Monday.

Rechard fired the net first for Sirajganj in the 13th minute while Sujan and European scored one goal each in the 44th and 75th minutes respectively.

Hafiz scored one goal for Joypurhat in the 53rd minute to reduce the loss-gap.

Sirajganj will face Chuadanga XI in the final at the same venue on Friday.

Chuadanga XI confirmed their final berth beating Jhinaidha XI 2-1 in the 1st semifinal on Sunday.
