Bangladesh lost their second warm-up match of the ICC Women's World Twenty20 against Pakistan by eight runs in a day-night affair at Providence Stadium in Guyana on Wednesday, reports UNB.

Bangladesh started their warm-up mission with a six-wicket win against Ireland in Guyana on November 04.

But they failed to continue their dominance with the loss against Pakistan before starting their Group A campaign in the Women's World T20 from tomorrow (Friday).

In their four-match group campaign, Bangladesh will face the hosts and current champions West Indies tomorrow (Friday) before playing England (November 12), Sri Lanka (November 14) and South Africa (November 18).

In the day's warm-up match, Salma Khatun's companies finished on 98 for 9 in 20 overs against Pakistan's 106 for 7 in 20 overs.

Fargana Hoque top-scored 28 off 41 balls with one boundary while Rumana Ahmed and unbeaten Lata Mondal added 10 runs each for Bangladesh.

Bismah Maroof [2/12], Aiman Anwer [2/13], Sana Mir [2/14] and Anam Amin [1/8] were the wicket takers for Pakistan.

Opening the innings with bat after winning the toss, Pakistan's total was spurred by their four double digit scorers - Bismah Maroof [22 off 32b; 1x4], skipper Javeria Khan [21 off 15b; 2x4], Ayesha Zafar [18 off 25b; 2x4] and Nida Dar [19 off 16b; 2x4].
