President of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) Mohammad Sanaullah, FCS along with Mohammad Bul Hassan FCS, Senior Vice President, Md. Selim Reza FCS, Vice President and Nazmul Karim, FCS, Treasurer called on Finance Minister Abul Maal A. Muhith, MP at his office Sunday. A delegation of ICSB, led by its president Mohammad Sanaullah, FCS called on Finance Minister Abul Maal A. Muhith, MP at his office Sunday.
The president of ICSB briefed the Finance Minister on various ongoing activities of the Institute and thanked him for his generous support and cooperation for the ICSB, said a statement.
The ICSB president requested the Finance Minister to allow Chartered Secretary profession for allowing Income Tax Practice like Chartered Accountants and Cost & Management Accountants under the Income Tax Ordinance, 1984.
"The Finance Minister took it very positively towards the development of the profession," said the statement.
Mohammad Bul Hassan FCS, Senior Vice President, Md. Selim Reza FCS, Vice President, Nazmul Karim FCS Treasurer, Kazi Md. Shamsul Alam, Secretary and Md. Shamibur Rahman ACS, Director (A&F) of the Institute were also present.
