The Strategic Business Conference - 2018 of Mercantile Bank Limited was held at FARS Hotel & Resorts in the city Saturday. A total of 129 branch managers and all divisional heads participated in the conference. A.K.M. Shaheed Reza, Chairman of the Bank inaugurated the Conference as the Chief Guest. Amanullah, Chairman, Risk Management Committee; Shahidul Ahsan, Chairman, Mercantile Bank Foundation and Al-Haj Akram Hossain (Humayun), Chairman, Mercantile Bank Securities Ltd & Director of Mercantile Bank Limited spoke on the occasion as Special Guests. Mohd. Selim & Dr. Md. Rahmat Ullah, Directors of the Bank also spoke on the conference as Guests of Honour.
The Chief Guest of the Conference & Chairman of the Bank A.K.M. Shaheed Reza conveyed thanks to all Managers & Head Office Team for achieving the profit target of 2017.
The Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Kazi Masihur Rahman in his speech gave directives to the Branch Managers to achieve the targets for 2018 through perseverance and hard work utilizing the state of the art technology platform of the Bank.
In the conference, achievement and performance of the Bank of last year was reviewed and strategies to achieve new target for the year 2018 was formulated.
