The heads of the bank's 139 branches and Head Office divisions participated in the conference.
Morshed Alam, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was present as the chief guest in the conference presided over by Managing Director & CEO Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury.
The chairman thanked the heads of branches and divisions for their sincere efforts to achieve the organisational goals for the last six months. He also highlighted the action plans to achieve business targets for upcoming months of the year.
The managing director emphasised the need to ensure modern and technology-based banking services to the customers. He gave guidelines to the heads of the branches and divisions to reach out to the poor and farmers.
Vice Chairmen Akram Hossain (Humayun) and Mohd. Selim, Chairman of the Executive Committee Shahidul Ahsan, Chairman of Mercantile Bank Foundation M Amanullah and Directors AKM Shaheed Reza, Md Nasiruddin Choudhury and M Khan Belal were present at the conference as special guests, said a statement.
