New vice chairman of Green Delta Ins

The Board of Directors of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited has recently elected Ms. Shamsun Nahar Begum Chowdhury as new Vice Chairperson of the board.

She attended several national and global seminars and symposiums.

She has contributed a lot to help develop the portfolio of Green Delta Insurance products.

Credit rating

Bay Leasing: Emerging Credit Rating Limited (ECRL) has assigned the rating of the company as "A" in the long term and "ST-2" in the short term along with a stable outlook based on audited financials of the company up to December 31, 2017 and other relevant quantitative and qualitative information up to the date of rating declaration.

Social Islami Bank: ECRL has assigned the surveillance rating of the company as "AA-" in the long term and "ST-2" in the short term along with a stable outlook based on audited financials of the company up to December 31, 2017 and other relevant quantitative and qualitative information up to the date of rating.

Mock test of ESS

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) informed all the registered eligible investors (EIs) that the electronic subscription system (ESS) under book building method has been further developed as per directive of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC). A mock test of the ESS for the EIs will be held round the clock from 10am on May 13 (Sunday) to 4:30pm on May 14 (Monday). All the EIs have been requested to participate in the mock test for successful 'go-live' of the book building method. — DSE Online
