Mohd. Hanif Chowdhury and Mrs. Hasina Gazi have been re-elected as chairman and vice chairman of the board of directors of Republic Insurance Company Limited at its 115th board meeting. Mr. Chowdhury is the chairman of Unitex Group of Companies. He was the vice chairman of the company from 2000-2014. Mr. Chowdhury is one of the directors of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited. Mrs. Gazi is the vice chairman of Gazi Group of Companies. At present, she is the elected mayor of Tarabo Pourasova in Narayangonj. — Statement
Sale of land
Bay Leasing: The board of directors of Bay Leasing and Investment Limited has approved the sale of a portion of land at Jamirdia of Bhaluka in Mymensingh measuring 446.80 decimal at an agreed value of Tk 337.5 million only. The Book Value of this portion of the land is over Tk 61.08 million only. Earlier, it was decided to sell 495 decimal of land.
