UCB signs MoU with Swisscontact

United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) recently signed a MoU with Swisscontact on B-SkillFUL project. As per the MoU, the travel allowance to trainees of B-SkillFUL project of Swisscontact will be disbursed by UCash, mobile financial services. Mr. A. T. M. Tahmiduzzaman, Executive Vice President of UCB & Head of Ucash and Mr. Md. Matiur Rahaman, Team leader of B-SkillFUL project of Swisscontact signed the MoU on behalf of both the organisations. Among others, Additional Managing Director of UCB Mr. Arif Quadri; Deputy Managing Director of UCB Mr. Md. Sohrab Mustafa; Deputy Managing Director of UCB Mr. Nabil Mustafizur Rahman; Deputy Managing Director Mr. N. Mustafa Tarek; Deputy Managing Director of UCB Md. Abdullah Al Mamoon and Country Director of Swisscontact Bangladesh Mr. Anirban Bhowmik along with other senior officials of both the organisations were present at the event.

EBL opens agent banking outlet at Keranigonj

M. Khorshed Anowar, Head of Retail Banking of Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) and Md. Anwar Hossain Aynal, local Union Parishad Chairman, formally inaugurated an EBL Agent Banking Outlet at Hazratpur of Keranigonj recently. M & M Dairy Firm is the agent of the outlet. — Statement

Five Japanese cos donate blankets

in Panchagarh

Five Japanese companies Ajinomoto, Grameen Uniclow, Honda, Rohto Mentolatam, and Yike distributed blankets among 2,000 families of Panchagarh district of the country. The UNO of Atowari upazila of Panchagarh, Sharmin Sultana inaugurated the programme. — Statement
