CIAC opens

Mr. Martin Kriegner, Member of Executive Committee of LafargeHolcim Group and Regional Head, Asia, recently inaugurated Concrete Innovation & Application Centre (CIAC) as a Service Renderer. CIAC- an independent concrete laboratory of Holcim Cement (Bangladesh) Limited (HBL) is approved by Bangladesh Accreditation Board. The inauguration took place at the Corporate Office of HBL. This will allow HBL to provide services to construction industry through testing of Concrete and it's ingredients at CIAC Lab. Mr. Rajesh Surana, Chairman, HBL and other senior officials were present during the inauguration. — Statement

PRAN-RFL's 4 cos receive VAT payer award

Four companies of PRAN-RFL Group received highest VAT payer's award for paying highest amount of VAT at 23rd Dhaka International Trade Fair-DITF-2018. The Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith handed over the awards on Monday at the conference room of the National Board of Revenue. Choudhury Atiur Rasul, Director (Accounts) of PRAN-RFL Group received the awards on behalf of the four companies. This year, 10 companies received highest VAT payer's award for DITF-2018. Four companies of PRAN-RFL Group are - RFL Plastics Limited, Durable Plastic Limited, Rangpur Metal Industries Limited and Agricultural Marketing Company Limited.
