MTB condoles expiry of Shamsun Naher Khan

Mutual Trust Bank Ltd has condoled the expiry of Alhaj Shamsun Naher Khan, wife of Late Advocate Alhaj Kamaluddin Ahmed Khan and mother of Anis A. Khan, Managing Director & CEO of MTB. She passed away at her Chattogram residence at 5:00 am on Wednesday. She was 83. Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held after Asr prayers at Laldighi Maidan, Chattogram and her mortal remains laid to rest at Chaitannya Galli Graveyard, Station Road, Chattogram. All relations, friends and well-wishers have been requested by the family of the deceased to pray for eternal salvation of her departed soul.

BRAC Bank signs MoU with Mentors'

BRAC Bank Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mentors' Study Abroad to facilitate overseas fee payment of the students studying abroad. Mentors' is country's leading agency for providing admission related services to students studying abroad. Under the MOU, the fees and living expenses of the students can be sent through BRAC Bank Student File Services. Anindya Chowdhury, Director at Mentors'; Tazrina Biswas, Centre In Charge, Banani Mentors', and Nazmur Rahim, Head of Retail Banking; Sarah Anam, Head Deposits and NFB; Mehruba Reza, Senior Product Manager; Sharmin Kazi, Center Manager, Gulshan Branch, BRAC Bank; and senior officials were present at the signing ceremony at BRAC Bank head office recently.

Berger Paints contributes for special children

A ceremony was organised at Gallery Chitrak, Dhanmondi, where financial grants were handed over to multiple organizations working for the welfare of specially challenged children in Bangladesh. With this, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited continues to extend its support for the welfare of autistic and specially challenged children every year since 2009. Also, a ceremony was held to award the winners of an art competition for the special children. An exhibition of the participating artworks was also inaugurated on the occasion. SEID Trust, Autism Welfare Foundation, Society for Welfare of Autistic Children, Scholars Special School, Proyash Bisheshayito Shikkha Protistahn, Alokito Shishu, Tauri Foundation-School For Gifted Children, Community Development Center are among the organisations that received contribution from Berger Paints.
