Trading on bourses remain closed today

The trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) will remain closed today (Thursday) due to the City Corporation Election.

“As the government has declared on Thursday as general holiday for Dhaka City Corporation (North) Election, trading and official activities on the bourses will remain closed today (Thursday),” DSE and CSE made the announcement in separate statement posted on their respective website on Wednesday.

Trading and official activities on the bourses will resume on March 03 (Sunday) as March 01 and March 02 (Friday and Saturday) are weekly holidays.
