Edward Kim, president of International Business Unit (IBU) of Walton Group, and Abhishek Malpani, director and chief operating officer of Hyundai Electronics India, signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the conference room of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited in Gazipur recently. As per the MoU, Walton will supply refrigerators and air conditioners for Hyundai brand for the Indian market Hyundai Electronics has recently signed a contract with Walton, a leading Bangladeshi electronics product manufacturer, for importing refrigerators and air conditioners through their partner Goldenarch Consumer Electronics Pvt. Ltd, said a statement.
As per the contract, Walton will supply refrigerators and residential air conditioners for Hyundai brand as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the Indian market.
Edward Kim, President of International Business Unit (IBU) of Walton Group, and Abhishek Malpani, Director and COO of Hyundai Electronics India, signed the agreement on the Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. premises in Chandra, Gazipur.
SM Ashraful Alam, Managing Director, and SM Mahbubul Alam, Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd., along with other senior officials from Hyundai Electronics India were present on the occasion.
Prior to signing of the contact, the Hyundai officials visited various production units of Walton Industries Ltd. including refrigerator, compressor, glass-door and air conditioner.
