ELBL board Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem presided over the meeting. Directors of the board Mir Ali Reza, Quazi Moharnmad Hasan; Independent Director Shajahan Majumder FCA; Executive Director Md Masudur Rahman, and Company Secretary Mohiuddin Ahmed and high officials of the company, were present at the meeting.
The shareholders expressed their keen interest and deep satisfaction with the company. Chairman of the board Abu Hena Md. Rahmatul Muneem and Executive Director Md Masudur Rahman replied to the queries and comments made by the shareholders.
The shareholders approved audited Financial Statements and 100 per cent cash dividend as recommended by the board of directors.
Sayed Mohammed Mozammel Haque and Md Masudur Rahman retired in this AGM and both of them were re-elected by the shareholders of the company. M/s A Qasem & Co, Chartered Accountants and M/s Ahmad & Akhtar Chartered Accountants, were appointed joint auditors of the company for the fiscal year 2017-2018.
