Sonargaon Hotel gets new EAMs

Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, one of the leading luxury hotels in the country, has recently promoted Asif Ahmed as Executive Assistant Manager (EAM), Finance. He will supervise other operational departments of the hotel in addition to his current responsibilities, said a press statement.

Asif Ahmed started his career with Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in 2005 as the Manager (Finance), became the Director of Finance in 2009 and has moved up to as Executive Assistant Manager, Finance of the hotel.

He previously worked for DHL Worldwide Express, Acid Survivors Foundation and KPMG Bangladesh in various capacities.

M A Awal, Director of Sales and Marketing has recently been promoted as Executive Assistant Manager, Sales and Marketing of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. He will supervise other operational departments of the hotel in addition to his current responsibilities.

Awal has been with Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel for more than 30 years, starting as Sales Coordinator and moving up to Executive Assistant Manager, Sales and Marketing.

He will also continue his role as Director of Sales and Marketing overseeing Sales and Marketing initiatives for the extensive 284-room hotel featuring numerous activities, including several dining venues and meeting rooms.
