Alltech launches 'Planet of Plenty' awards

Alltech, a global company helping farmers feed the world, raise healthy animals and protect the environment through nutritional innovation, has introduced "Planet of Plenty" awards this year for the first time, said a statement.

The aim of these awards is to recognise the contributions of those who are helping to improve the well-being of humans, plants, animals or the environment, in the way that can help sustain the planet for future generations, said Dr. Saiful Islam, General Manager of Alltech Bangladesh.

"We are looking for stories of people who are doing something extraordinary, different or new, and whose efforts are connected to the agri-food industry," he said.

According to available information, Alltech will honor winners in eight categories: Farmer, student, journalist, nonprofit, community, business, startup and educator.

The winners will receive awards and a trip (for two) to ONE: The Alltech Ideas Conference, scheduled to be held on May 19-21, 2020, in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.
