BHBFC earns Tk 1,689.60m profit in FY'19

The Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) has earned Tk 1,689.60 million (Tk 168.96 crore) profit in fiscal year 2018-19 (FY '19), reports BSS.

The figure was 126.7 million (Tk 12.67 crore) higher than the previous fiscal year (FY '18).

In the FY '19, the corporation allocated Tk 5,530.6 million (Tk 553.06 crore) as credit which was Tk 401.61 crore in the FY' 18, a BHBFC press release said on Tuesday.

The recovery of loan was more than Tk 5,290 million (Tk 529.33 crore) in the FY '19 which was Tk 5065.10 million (Tk 506.51 crore) in the previous financial year.

In FY '19, classified loan abated to 6.62 per cent which was 1.06 per cent lower than the previous fiscal year.
