BSMRMU VC Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal meeting President Md Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban recently Vice Chancellor of only maritime-specialised public university of the country, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahaman Maritime University (BSMRMU) Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal met President and Chancellor of BSMRMU Md Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban recently, says a press release.
The senior officials of the President's office along with the Director (Planning, Development and Evaluation) of BSMRMU Commander M Nazmul Hasan were present during the meeting.
The VC conveyed wishes to the President on behalf of BSMRMU and presented a memorial crest. Besides, he apprised the President about the development and progress of BSMRMU's education and research activities and establishment of a permanent campus of the university.
The President gave many important directions for the better progress of BSMRMU's educational activities and for the establishment of the permanent campus.
Besides, Mr Hamid expressed high optimism about the future potentiality of the university considering the country's blue economy prospect.
