BSTI files 14 cases in Khulna

KHULNA, Aug 26 (BSS): The Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) has conducted 10 mobile courts and filed 14 cases against different organisations and business establishments in Khulna division for selling adulterated foods and not using digital weighing machines.

They also slapped fine to the tune of Tk 28,000 and realised the money during the drives, said a press release issued by BSTI Director Md Abdul Mannan.

The mobile court conducted drives in ten organisations including departmental stores, drinking water making industry and ice-cream factory in Khulna.
