DBI course on VAT ends

A two-day training programme on "Rules & Procedures of VAT & Income Tax" organized by DCCI Business Institute (DBI) ended Saturday, said a statement.

A total of 26 business professionals nominated by different prominent organizations participated in the course.

Muhammad Mahbub Alam, FCA, Finance Controller, Akij Group and Md. Ratan Mia, Tax Consultant, TRACC conducted the training as Resource Persons.

The training course highlighted important issues on VAT & Income Tax.

The Closing and Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the said program was held on Saturday at DBI premises.

S M Zillur Rahman, Director, DCCI graced the programme as Chief Guest.

He advised the participants to have proper knowledge of VAT and Income Tax for achieving long-term business success in current competitive global market. One should have clear idea about VAT and Income Tax and other Tax formalities to run his/her business successfully. Adequate knowledge about rules and procedures of VAT and Income Tax helps a businessman to run his business professionally.

Md. Joynal Abdin, Executive Director of DCCI Business Institute (DBI) offered the vote of thanks on this occasion. He also inspired the participants to practice and share their knowledge among the fellow colleagues.
