Dhaka int'l textile, garment machinery expo starts Feb 8

The Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG) 2018 will kick off at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the capital on February 8, says a statement.

The Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co, Ltd will jointly organise the four-day exposition where a large number of exhibitors from home and abroad are expected to participate.

The organisers expect more than 1,100 exhibitors from 36 countries and regions including Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the US, Vietnam and hosts Bangladesh, will showcase a wide range of quality machinery, equipment related to global textile and garment and the latest industrial development in the 15th edition of the exhibition.

Besides, world's leading and other international brands covering comprehensive textile and garment supply chains, including Mayer & Cie, Pai Lung, Santoni, Shima Seiki, Stoll, Terrot, Picanol, M&R, CTMTC, Fong's, Groz-Beckert, Karl Mayer, LMW, Rieter, Saurer, Truetzschler and Toyota will join the expo that will provide a scope of learning the latest industrial developments, partner with key industry players, sourcing quality machines, and also open up the opportunity to build contacts with potential business partners, and access to the global textile and garment value chains.
