Robotics carnival begins at Buet today

A two-day "Robo Carnival-2019" will begin at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) today to engage the robotics enthusiasts of different institutions of the country.

State Minister for Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak is expected to be present at the closing ceremony of Robo Carnival-2019 as the chief guest while Buet Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Saiful Islam as the special guest, reports BSS.

This national level event is organised by Buet Robotics Society for the third consecutive time, a Buet press release said.Pathfinder, Industrial Automation Challenge, Soccer Bot Competition, Project Showcasing and Cognition and Idea Competition are five segments of the carnival.

Around 800 participants from more than 20 institutions of the country will take part in the segments.
