Shahriar for wide-ranging promotion of science, tech sector

RAJSHAHI, Dec 18 (BSS): State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam has said that there is no way but to wide-ranging promotion of the science and technology sector for overall development of the country.

"The young generation will take the nation one-step forward through improving the technological area and all of us should create an enabling situation for them in this regard," he said while addressing the prize-distribution ceremony of Inter-school Science Fair and Competition at Charghat on Sunday as the Chief Guest.

The state minister said substantial and sustainable boosting the number of science-minded students and youths can be the vital means of taking the nation forward.

He added that the young generation should be enriched with science and ICT knowledge to ensure their better contribution in the development process of the country.
