Spore's mfg output rises 17.9pc in Jan

SINGAPORE, Feb 26 (Xinhua): Singapore Economic Development Board announced on Monday that the country's manufacturing output grew 17.9 per cent year on year in the first month of 2018, compared to a 3.9 per cent decline last December.

Excluding biomedical manufacturing, output grew 21.6 per cent year on year in January. Meanwhile, on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, Singapore's manufacturing output increased 6.7 per cent in January 2018.
