Thai food week, trade show at Sonargaon hotel form today

Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka has organised a week-long programme titled 'Tantalizing Thai Week beginning on Monday when most popular dishes of Thailand prepared a team of its expert chafe will be on the menu for customers and a debonair cultural show will be performed every day.

A statement released on Sunday said that the festival will feature scrumptious feast for food connoisseurs where Pad Thai (Stir Fried Noodles), Tom Yum Goong (Sour Spicy Soup with Shrimp), Som Tam Thai (Green Papaya Salad) and many more mouthwatering dishes will be served.

Besides, a group of expert Thai dancers arriving from the Southeast Asian country will perform vibrant Thai dance on every event day. Organisers hope, the exquisite cultural show along with the delicious cuisine will be a wonderful blend of oriental flavour infused with local taste.

In addition to the Thai Food Week, an exposition, titled 'Thai Trade Show 2018', will also be simultaneously taking place at the Grand Ball Room of the Pan Pacific Sonargaon in association with the Royal Thai Embassy, Dhaka, from Apr 23 to Apr 26, the statement said.

At the 'Tantalizing Thai Week', the buffet dinner is prices at Tk 3,500 per person (all inclusive except beverages). Standard Chartered Bank's Debit and Credit card holders will get 20 per cent discount on buffet dinner during the week.
