Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Business Institute (DBI) organised the July 12-13 event on it's premises, says a statement.
Seventeen business professionals nominated by different renowned organisations participated in the course.
Senior Vice President of DCCI Waqar Ahmad Choudhury attended the closing programme and certificate awarding ceremony of the training course as the chief guest.
Group Chief Financial Officer of Rahimafrooz Bangladesh Limited Mohammad Zahid Hossain, FCA, was also present at the function.
Former Commissioner of Customs & VAT of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Md. Abdul Kafi and ACS, Income Tax Lawyer & Company Law Adviser, at Rahman Alam Shamsuddin and Associates Md. Hadisul Alam conducted the training as resource persons.
According to the participants' feedback, the two-day training course has broadened their mental horizon and made them conversant with important issues related to VAT and income tax.
