Macron appoints three new ministers

PARIS, Apr 01: French President Emmanuel Macron has appointed three new government members, including the minister who will be in charge of handling Brexit-related issues. A lawmaker with Macron's party, Amelie de Montchalin, becomes junior minister for European affairs, a statement from the French presidency said Sunday. An economist who studied at Harvard Kennedy School, she has worked at the European Commission, the EU's executive body, as a political analyst. — AP

Seoul begins war remains excavation without North

Thousands protest against Brazil coup anniversary

Germany recovers bodies from small plane wreck

BERLIN, Apr 01: German authorities have begun recovering the bodies of three people, believed to include one of Russia's richest women, who were killed in a small plane crash on Sunday. The dpa news agency reported Monday that authorities were unable to recover the bodies or examine the charred wreck earlier due to darkness. Russian airline S7 Group said co-owner Natalia Fileva was aboard the single-engine, six-seat Epic LT aircraft that crashed and burned in a field as it approached the small airport at Egelsbach near Frankfurt. — AP
