116 families come under power network

LAKSHMIPUR, Mar 25 (BSS): A total of 116 families at Kalyanpur village of Kushakhali Union under Sadar Upazila in the district were brought under electrification network by the Lakshmipur Palli Bidyut Samity on Sunday.

On the occasion, a function was held in Kalyanpur village. Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal inaugurated the 2.85 kilometers line this afternoon while participating at the function as the chief guest. Local Awami League organized the function with Kushakhali Union Parishad chairman M Nurul Amin in the chair.

The function was addressed, among others, by President of district AL Golam Faruq Pinku, General Secretary Advocate Nuruddin Chowdhury Nayon, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Nuruzzaman, General Manager of district Palli Bidyut Samity Md Shahjahan Kabir and AL leader Bijon Bihari Ghosh.

Shahjahan Kamal urged villagers to elect Awami League again in the next national election to maintain the course and pace of development.
