190 houses come under power network

MANIKGANJ, Jan 31 (BSS): A total of 190 houses of Char Ulail village under Singair upazila of the district have been brought under rural electrification network by Manikganj Palli Bidyut Samity.

Popular Folk Singer Momtaj Begum, MP of Manikganj-2 constituency inaugurated the electrification supply yesterday at Char Ulail village of Dhalla union of the upazila as the chief guest.

Mahbubur Rahman, deputy general manager of Singair Palli Bidyut Samity, presided over the function.

Anwara Khatun, vice-chairman of Singair upazila parishad, freedom fighter Engineer Habibur Rahman and local Awami League leaders spoke on the occasion.

Over 3.5 km areas of the village were brought under the power network.
