20 hurt as bus overturns in Narail

NARAIL, June 07 (UNB): At least 20 passengers, including women and children, were injured after a bus lost control and overturned on the Narail-Jashore highway on Saturday night.The accident occurred in front of the Passport Office near the New Bus Terminal area in Narail town.

The identities of the injured could not be confirmed immediately.

Md Humayun Kabir, Station Officer of Narail Fire Service, said firefighters rushed to the spot and rescued the injured passengers.

They were later taken to Narail District Hospital for treatment, he said.
