2,000 Bhola farmers receive seeds, fertilisers

BHOLA, Nov 14 (BSS): Seeds of various Robi crops and fertilisers were distributed among 2000 farmers in Sadar upazila under incentives programme of the government.

Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) officials said to assist the small and marginal farmers, the government took the incentive programems to distribute seed of different Robi crops and fertilisers during the current Robi season.

The farmers got seeds of mustard, maize, wheat, ground nut and mungbean and dafertlilizers Di-ammonium Phosphate (DAP) and Muriate of Potash (MoP).

District council chairman Abdul Momin Tulu distributed the incentives at a function at the upazila council auditorium as the chief guest.

Sadar UNO M Mujahidul Islam presided over the function.
