Additional BGB members deployed along Benapole border to prevent fuel smuggling

Benapole, Mar 7 (UNB): The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has strengthened patrols and intelligence monitoring in various points of Benapole border to prevent possible fuel smuggling.
Lieutenant Colonel Saifullah Siddiqui, commanding officer of BGB-49 Battalion, said additional BGB personnel have been deployed to intensify surveillance in the border area following the rising international fuel prices and global market instability.
