Anti-corruption campaign begins in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, Sept 18 (BSS): Aiming to raise awareness against corruption, a week-long debate, essay and drawing competition has begun in Satkhira.

The theme of the competition is "Unity of Youth against Corruption, Building the Purity of the Future."

The event was inaugurated at 10:00 am on Thursday at the Satkhira Sadar Upazila Auditorium. It was organised by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Integrated District Office, Khulna, and jointly managed by the Satkhira District Administration and the District Corruption Prevention Committee.

President of the District Corruption Prevention Committee and noted social worker Alhaj Dr Abul Kalam Babla presided over the inaugural session, while General Secretary Md Anisur Rahman moderated the event.

Satkhira Superintendent of Police Mohammad Monirul Islam formally inaugurated the program as the chief guest.
