Bodies of three missing children recovered from Brahmaputra

KURIGRAM, Sept 12 (BSS): The bodies of three children, who went missing while taking bath in the Brahmaputra river on Wednesday in Nageshwari upazila of the district, were recovered from the river on Thursday.

The deceased were Atik Hasan, son of Ahad Ali, Jewel, son of Alam Mia, and Nazmul Islam, son of Nazrul Islam. All of them aged between 7-10 years. All are residents of Astashir Char village of Narayanpur union of the upazila. Akhi, daughter of Ahad Ali, remains missing till the filling of this report.

Divers from local firefighting units recovered the bodies from different areas of the river.
