BRTA revenue earning exceeds in FY 2017-18

MAGURA, July 04: Revenue earning of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), Magura, has exceeded the target set for it for the fiscal year (FY) 2017-2018.
Sources said Magura BRTA has earned Tk 70 million revenue in the FY 2017-2018, whereas the target was Tk 30 million.
Sources said the office earned Tk 35 million in FY 2013-14, Tk 42 million in FY 2014-15, Tk 45 million in FY 2015-16, Tk 55 million in FY 2016-17 and Tk 70 million in FY 2017-18.
Revenue earning of BRTA Magura has increased by two times during the last five years.
BRTA, Magura, Assistant Director SM Mahfuzur Rahman said, "We are happy that the office has fulfiled the target. We try to provide quality services to the clients."
Magura Chamber and Commerce Industry director Golam Rasul said revenue earning of Magura BRTA office has increased as the clients are getting services properly.
"It is a positive signal for our economy", he added.
