Dinajpur, Ctg road accidents kill two

DINAJPUR, May 30 (BSS): One person was killed and three others were injured as a truck hit an easy bike in Baluadanga area of the town on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Poritosh Chandra Roy, 18, son of Raj Kumar Roy, a resident of Singoil village under Birol upazila of the district.

Police said the accident occurred when the paddy-laden truck hit the easy bike from opposite direction in the area at about 10 am, leaving four easy bike passengers injured.

The injured were sent to Dinajpur Medical college Hospital where Poritosh succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, UNB adds: In Chottogram, a college student was killed while two others injured when a truck rammed a motorcycle on Chattogram-Khagrachhari highway at Farhadabad in Hathazari upazila on Tuesday night.

The deceased was identified as Shahed Ali, 22, a student of Fatikchhari University College and son of Zahur Alam of Rangamatia village in Fatikchhari.

Later, they were taken to Nazirhat Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared Shaheed dead and others were shifted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital.
