Elderly woman dies in Rajshahi road crash

RAJSHAHI, May 13 (UNB): An elderly woman was killed as a bus ran over her on the Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj Highway in Godagari municipal area on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rasheda Begum, 60, wife of Sarangpur Policepara.
Sub-inspector Ali Akbar of Godagari Model Police Station said a Chapainawabganj-bound bus hit Rasheda around 8:30am while whe was crossing the highway, leaving her dead on the spot.
