Farmer dies from electrocution in Magura

MAGURA, Oct 22 (UNB): A farmer was electrocuted at Pukhuria Baliadanga village in Sadar upazila on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Khondokar Lutfur Fakir, 52, of the area.
Saiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Magura Sadar Police Station, said locals spotted the body of Lutfur lying in a crop land and informed police.
He was electrocuted when he came in contact with an electric wire of a poultry farm. Poultry farm owner Shohag took electric connection in the farm to prevent wild animals, said police.
