Fire guts 57 houses in Gazipur

At least 57 houses were gutted in a fire in two colonies in the Konabari Ambagan area of Gazipur late Tuesday, according to the Fire Service, reports UNB.
Mohammad Mamun, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD), said the fire originated in one of the dwellings and spread fast at around 12:00 am.
