Four commercial establishments fined in Munshiganj

MUNSHIGANJ, Feb 16 (BSS): The National Consumer Rights Protection Department fined four commercial establishments for failing to display price lists and preserve purchase receipts at Baligaon Bazar under Tongibari upazila of the district on Monday.

During the drive, the mobile court fined Tofazzal, owner of Tasin Store Taka 1,000, Mohammad Anwar, owner of Anwar Store Taka 1,000, Mohammad Shamim, owner of Shamim Store Taka 1,000, and the owner of Sattar Store Taka 1,000 for not displaying price lists and failing to preserve purchase receipts, which are mandatory under consumer protection laws.
