According to the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), farmers of the four districts achieved over 2.4 million tonnes of T-Aman paddy this season due to favourable weather condition.
Now, both the farmers and hoarder are being benefited simultaneously. The hoarders bought each maund of rice at Tk 700 to Tk 800, now they sell the same amount of paddy at Tk 1300 to Tk 1400 after two and a half months.
